The Corona virus (Covid-19) epidemic has impacted our Healthcare infrastructure; the imperative lockdown to prevent the contagion has had a profound impact on the country’s Socio-economic condition.

In disasters, a lot of effort and focus is thrown on rescue and relief work, but more often than we think; rehabilitation takes a backseat and goes underfunded. Most efforts of Covid-19 are also going to be on the same lines but REST (Rudra Education and Sports Trust) envisions a collective that continue to work on the ground and comp-up with strategies to deal with rehabilitating COVID hit families over the mid-term, long after relief work is over ,through a structure that facilitates that to happen. REST move ahead towards a large-scale giving collective to complement efforts of the Indian govt.

REST has launched the mission of support to support the underprivileged and vulnerable communities cope with the Covid-19.

As India goes under total lockdown to tackle Covid-19, approx 90% of Indian workforce working in the informal sector, face an uncertain without wages. REST’s Mission of Support is to support the daily wage earners who have been strandred without a job and not able to feed their families and take care of other essentials.

With this mission REST is planning to feed more than 300 families with the daily Ration and other essential things to all the daily wage earners.

It is not just an ultimate act of Selflessness but also you might be among the nation’s Super Heroes!
